With Boston's trophies decided, the calendar turns south. The third Miami Open runs November 17–23 at Hilton Miami Aventura, bringing a week of lessons, side events, jackpot play and the ABT main divisions to Aventura. Friday, November 20 is the date to circle for the ABT: the official timetable starts Open, Advanced and Intermediate play at 11 a.m. EST.
For fans following from home, there are three distinct fantasy angles: the Masters Jackpot covered by our Super Jackpot category, the ABT Open Main and the WWB Women's Cup. They are separate contests, with separate pools, locks and scores. Opening a fantasy page does not register you for the physical tournament, and a previous Miami result does not confirm a player's place in the 2026 field.
A week, not just a weekend
| Date | Programme highlight | Miami local time |
|---|---|---|
| Tue Nov 17 | Boot Camp and social backgammon | Boot Camp 10 a.m.; social / Beat the Pro 7 p.m. |
| Wed Nov 18 | Masters Jackpot first start | 7:30 p.m. EST |
| Fri Nov 20 | ABT main divisions begin | 11 a.m. EST |
| Sun Nov 22 | WWB Women's Cup begins | Noon EST |
| Mon Nov 23 | ABT After Tournament | 11 a.m. EST |
The programme gives visitors several ways into the festival. Early-week Boot Camp and social play lead into Players Cup rounds and jackpot starts; traditional no-cube play is listed separately from ABT play. The organiser's events page describes the formats and eligibility in more detail. Use the official timetable for schedule changes rather than assuming every event starts with Friday's Main.
Friday's first roll matters
The evening undefeated and second-chance brackets are not the start of the ABT competition. The first Main play is at 11 a.m. Friday, after the scheduled Calcutta. Our Open fantasy deadline is tied to that opening play time, not the later 7 p.m. session. The organiser separately says ABT registration closes Thursday night at 10 p.m., with on-site check-in by Friday at 11 a.m.; travellers should confirm their arrangements directly with the tournament.
Physical tournament fees, membership requirements and check-in belong to the Miami organiser. Bet On Gammon's online fantasy entry is free and offers no current prizes. Fantasy Credits are roster units, not tournament money, purchased credits or a cash-out balance.
The 2025 winners: context worth keeping
| Published 2025 competition | Champion | What it establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Super Jackpot | Kit Woolsey | A past title; not 2026 registration |
| WWB Women's Cup | Amber Callahan | A past women's-event title; not 2026 registration |
| ABT Open | Petko Kostadinov | A past Open title; not 2026 registration |
Those are genuine event records, not a predicted entry list. Our history badges cite published prior results in the corresponding Miami category. The 2025 Super Jackpot name is retained in those historical references; Miami's 2026 programme calls the covered tournament Masters Jackpot. The separate Mega Jackpot is outside this fantasy contest. No officially confirmed renaming is claimed.
Boston form is a watchlist, not a roll call
Chris Trencher, Abraham Mosseri and Karen Janowsky arrive in the November discussion with the respective Boston Open, Super Jackpot and WWB titles on their records. They are useful names to follow, not announced Miami entrants. Gabriel Abikzer's two side-event titles and Arms of Victory trophy add another Boston storyline, but do not make him an Open champion or establish Miami attendance.
Review the separate registration indicator on each player. REGISTERED appears only when a dated record confirms attendance for that contest. A historical title, prior participation, a photograph or eligibility in the draft pool is not that confirmation. Unconfirmed eligible candidates remain selectable under the existing rules; there is no automatic replacement if a pick does not play.
At our November 6 check, the Miami fantasy pools contained 446 Masters/Super Jackpot candidates, 43 Women's Cup candidates and 446 Open candidates, with a stored price for every candidate. None had a confirmed 2026 Miami registration in our records. Those are eligible-pool counts, not an official attendance total; the organiser may have registrations that are not yet reflected here.
Choose your contest, then check its live status
The configured Miami deadlines are Wednesday, November 18 at 7:30 p.m. EST for the Masters/Super Jackpot category; Friday, November 20 at 11 a.m. EST for ABT Open; and Sunday, November 22 at noon EST for the Women's Cup. The linked pages show the current contest availability. Drafting is promoted only when those pages confirm entries are open.
Build six unique picks within 50,000 FC, select one captain and check both premium-player and former-World-Champion limits. Use the prices displayed for that contest, not a figure quoted in an older Boston story. Existing saved draft and submission records are not rewritten by this preview or by a historical-result badge.
