The fantasy contest for the 2026 Monte Carlo Backgammon World Championship is finished. Final team standings, per-player scoring and the source attribution behind every point are now published on the results and leaderboard pages, and the event itself is archived rather than deleted — rosters, captains and standings stay readable.
Where to look
- World Championship Results — final placements, per-player point totals and the exact scoring notes.
- Final Leaderboard — closing team standings with the winning team highlighted.
- My Team — your archived roster, each player's verified points and your captain multiplier contribution.
How the points were awarded
Scoring follows the progression already published on the How to Play page: stage-based awards rising from early-round advancement through the final 32, final 16, quarterfinal and semifinal bands to runner-up and champion placements, with side events scored separately at lower values. The captain multiplier is applied once, to the captain's own total.
One honest limitation is documented directly in the app. Official final placements are public, but round-by-round opponent detail, byes and gammon or backgammon classifications are not published for every match. Where that granular evidence does not exist, points are derived from official placement bands at a plain multiplier and labelled as placement-derived advancement rather than opponent-verified match wins. Nothing was inferred beyond what the official sources establish.
The event is archived
Drafting for Monte Carlo is closed and the contest is locked, so no roster can be edited after the fact. The archive stays online as the permanent record of the event.
Las Vegas fantasy registration is open
Three free-to-play fantasy markets are now open for the 2026 Las Vegas Open: the $2,500 Super Jackpot Fantasy, WWB Women’s Cup Fantasy and ABT Main Event Fantasy. These use virtual points and are separate from official tournament registration.
